Optimized Machine Learning Classification of Thyroid Status Using TSH Laboratory Data from Sulaymaniyah City: Performance and Gender-Based Analysis
This research proposes an optimized machine learning pipeline using anonymized TSH laboratory records from diagnostic laboratories in Sulaymaniyah City. The study will classify cases as normal or not normal using TSH, laboratory reference ranges, age, and gender. Multiple supervised models (Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Random Forest, SVM, KNN, and optionally a Neural Network) will be trained and compared.
